The Alternative Energy Association will be sponsoring a continuing education course -"Florida Alternative Energy Law Seminar" on April 17th in Downtown West Palm Beach at the office of Florida Public Utilities. The cost for this course is $75, but will be availible to the first 25 early registrants for a discounted price of $60. This course has been submitted to the Florida Bar for approval for 4 hours of CLE for Florida attorneys.

Course Description:
This seminar is designed to update Florida practitioners regarding the status of Florida and federal law relating to the alternative energy industry. This area of the law is quickly evolving, and both on the Florida and federal level new laws have been implemented to address this expanding area of interest. Many new incentives have been created in 2008 and additonal proposals are being discussed both in the Florida Legislature and Congress.
